80/20 Lab

Your data

What Twice stores and where.

Your history stays on your PC
Everything you copy is kept in one file in your Windows profile (the Twice folder under AppData), encrypted on disk. Uninstalling asks whether to delete it.
One network call, to activate a key
Twice goes online only when you activate or deactivate Pro. It sends the key and a random install number to Polar, the payment provider, and nothing else. It never checks the key again.
No account
Twice never asks you to sign in. Pro is a licence key you paste once.
Private copies are skipped
Copies that password managers mark private, or that ask Windows not to keep them, are never recorded. You can pause recording from the tray menu. The log holds start, open and error lines, never the text of a copy.
Coming: the AI connection, only if you allow it
Your assistant can use your clipboard, on your PC, only when you allow it. It will be off until you turn it on.
The installer is not signed yet
Today Windows shows a blue SmartScreen box the first time the installer runs (More info, then Run anyway). The launch installer will carry a code signature.
